This is a great bat. My 16-year-old has used this bat for the last two seasons. He's never really been considered a "power hitter", but this season he was the first on his high school team to hit a home run over the fence. The bad news is that the end cap became dislodged and the bat became virtually worthless.
Now for the rest of the story: I called DeMarini and told them that the bat was damaged and that it was beyond the one year warranty, but could they fix it if I sent it in. He said sure and when I asked how much he said there would be no charge. I sent the bat priority mail on a Friday and received a BRAND NEW replacement bat by FedEx 11 days later. This bat was out of warranty and I didn't have a receipt but they replaced it for free regardless.
Next year my boy will be needing a longer bat and I'll be buying another DeMarini.
